Youth Seminar on THE
(Turkey’s Harmonisation to Europe)

Between the dates of 15-19September THE (Turkey's Harmonization To Europe) was brought into life in Ankara with the participations from 11 countries(Czech Republic ,Romania,Finland,Bulgaria,Norway,Germany,Polond,France,England,Spain,Portugal)
It was accredited by University of  Bonn, Mixed Parliamentary Commission of Turkey and the EU, Turkish Banks, and the EU Commission; the speakers from NGOs and the students were informed about the titles of various negotiations; a brief summary of the latest conditions was made. Education-culture, law, social policies, science and technology were emphasized.
Furthermore the young people set a virtual European Parliament and parties. They also chose a minister among them and formed 4 commissions.(Economy, Social Policy, Environmental Affairs, Foreign Affairs) Relevant to the missions of the parties, they prepared a report on the outlook of Europe 2010.
Lastly they attended the reception given by the ambassadors of Poland and England. Ambassador of Poland Gregor Michalski also told them his experiences in his country.
Ambassadors of the 8 countries, Head of the National Agency, and all the coordinators of Youth, Leonardo da vinci, and Socrates attended the reception given by English Ambassador Sir Peter Wesmacott. Head of the EU Centre Association that carried out these projects Tunay İnce gave plaquettes of gratitude to Sir Peter Wesmacott and Dr.Fatih Hasdemir, head of the National Agency; thanked Gürkan Akçaer for his efforts and stated that youth projects, project trainings and the publicity campaigns of Turkey would continue.
